Amandus 'Mandy' Kunesh

GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- Amandus "Mandy" Harold Kunesh, 64, passed away March 20, 2014, after a long, courageous battle with respiratory failure.

Services were held on March 25, 2014, at O'Connor Funeral Home Chapel, Great Falls. Mandy was born on October 30, 1949, at the old Columbus Hospital to Victor and Marie (Wagner) Kunesh. He attended local schools and graduated from CMR in 1969. He was a kind, gentle giant who was loved by everyone. He cherished his family and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Montana Grizzlies and Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his brother, Al (Coni) Kunesh of Great Falls, Mont.; sisters, Vonne (Joe Guidotti) Hall of Great Falls, Mont., and Bennette (Dan) Singer of Sherwood, Ohio; brother-in-law, Jim Justinger of Coldwater, Mich.; nephews, Rick (Sandy) Larson of Belt, Mont., Doug Justinger of Defiance, Ohio, and Scott (Stephanie) Singer of Ney, Ohio; nieces, Connie (John) Higbea of Defiance, Ohio, and Rebecca Singer of Sherwood, Ohio; along with several cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and his faithful dog, Jack.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Kunesh; sister, Anne Justinger; and nephew, Bryan Kunesh.
