WAUSEON -- Ila Mae Demaline, 87, of Wauseon, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, March 6, 2014.
Ila Mae was born in Wauseon, on April 15, 1926, the daughter of Gordon A. and Bertha (Kemp) Ross. On February 10, 1946, she married Roland O. Demaline, and he survives. She was a former member of the Zion United Methodist Church, near Wauseon, and a member of Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon. She had been active in the past in the ladies' ministries of the churches. Ila Mae also volunteered for Fulton County FISH.
Surviving are her husband, Roland; children, Kim and Jill (Lemley) Demaline, Kevin and Kimberly (Good) Demaline, Michelle and David Myers, and Amy and Michael Morr; grandchildren, Kyle (Kimberly) Demaline, Kelly Demaline, Taylor Myers, Matt (Mischa) Okuley, Katlyn, Breanna and Garrett Demaline, Kelly (Nate) Gericke, Spencer Morr and Samantha Morr; and great-grandchildren, Emma and Jase Demaline, Mason, Skylar, Ian and Gavin Gericke, Mitchell, Makayla, Seth and Meridith Okuley.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Randy and Jeffery Demaline; grandson, Christopher Demaline; and two sisters, Donna Augustine-Finn and Genevive Ross.
Visitation for Ila Mae will be held from 2-8 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, in the chapel at Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Matt Boyers officiating. Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery, near Wauseon.
