HICKSVILLE -- Lillie Cover, 69, died Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Paulding County Hospital, Paulding, Ohio.

She was born on September 13, 1944, in Lost Creek, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Cesar and Bertha Baker. Lillie was a 1963 graduate of Breathitt County High School in Jackson, Kentucky. On July 10, 1965, she was united in marriage to Jerry Cover and he survives. Lillie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Antwerp, Ohio. She enjoyed her family, grandkids' sporting events and quilting.

Lillie is survived by two sons, Rod (Christine) Cover of Hicksville, Jeff (Tammy) Cover of Fort Wayne, Indiana; six grandchildren, Joshua, Brandon, Eric, Marissa, Emma, Shelby; one great-grandson, Grant; siblings, Junior Cash (Brenda), Raymond (Vada), Benny, Charles (Jenny), Geraldine (Freddie Wayne) Mullins, Ed (Vanessa), all of rural Kentucky, and Bonnie Jean Madden of Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Allen Cover; a brother, Ray Baker; three sisters, Dalorius Baker, Linda Elliott and Beulah Mae Gruber.

Funeral services for Lillie will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.
