Betty Moore

Betty Ann Moore was found unconscious at her apartment by her daughter, April, on Friday, January 24, 2014. She was taken to Defiance Regional Hospital which then later that night transferred her to Toledo Hospital. Betty was taken off life support on Tuesday, January 28, at approximately 11:30 a.m. She passed away at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Moore. Kimberly passed away in 1991 of cardiomyopathy.

Betty is survived by her three children and two in-laws: son, Charles Moore; daughter-in-law, Lany E. Moore; daughter, Margot Baker; son-in-law, John Baker; and daughter, April L. Moore-Crawford. Betty had nine grandchildren, Amanda Theil, Bethany Baker, Rebeckah Baker, John Baker Jr., Asya Crawford, Indya Crawford, Rhoame Crawford, Chazlance Moore and Deborah Moore. Betty had one great-granddaughter, Kimberlynne Ledbetter.

Betty enjoyed going to the senior center and she was an active member of First Assembly of God Church in Bryan, Ohio. Betty loved spending time with her family and her dog, Rocko.

Betty's celebration of life is going to be held at the end of March. Arrangements are still being finalized. Her family would just like to say thank you again to those who showed support in such a tragic time.

"Rest peacefully in heaven you gorgeous Angel. You will sincerely be missed but most certainly never forgotten!!"

  • A mistake was made about the church Mom attended.. She was a faithful member of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Also, her 3rd grand-daughter is SGT. Rebekah Baker Combs,  How sad she will have just missed the birth of her second great grandchild, due the end of this month!
