NAPOLEON -- Terri A. Williams, 55, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Saturday morning, February 1, 2014, after a short courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born December 8, 1958, in Napoleon to the late Richard and Helen (Bankey) Watkins. On December 1, 1979, she married Regan Williams. Terri was a 1977 graduate of Napoleon High School and then graduated from Northwest State Community College. In high school, she began working at the local Rite Aid Store and she stayed there for a career as a district and regional manager. She was responsible for and very proud of the 2010 completion of the current Rite Aid Pharmacy in Napoleon.
She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Napoleon; served on Napoleon City Council for 24 years; former board member of the Napoleon Chamber of Commerce and Henry County CIC; and currently was treasurer of Place at the Beach Condo Board in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Terri loved her flower gardens, home interior decorating and planning and entertaining for company and social parties. She had a gift of making all her friends feel like they each were individually "Special."
She is survived by her loving husband, Regan; special daughter, Estefania "Steph" Conde-Blanco, Spain; brothers-in-law, Warren (Connie) Williams, Dennis (Bunny) Williams, Mike Williams; nieces and nephews, Amy, Jenny, Libby, Maureen, Tyler, Frank, Nathan; her faithful feline companions, Pippa, Patch, Jessie, Scooter, Rocket, Stubby; many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless dear friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Napoleon, with Rev. Lindy Maurice-Saum officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
