Rollen 'Ron' Zachrich

NAPOLEON -- Rollen Lavaughn "Ron" Zachrich, 86, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Saturday, January 11, 2014.

He was born January 11, 1928, in Holgate, Ohio, to the late Harmon and Luetta (Heldberg) Zachrich. On January 18, 1948, he married Dolores "Dee" Bohn. Ron was a 1946 graduate of Napoleon High School. He owned and operated Ron Zachrich Builders for over 35 years. He worked for 21 years at Sauder Village, Archbold, Ohio. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, where he was a former elder, shepherd, trustee and usher.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores "Dee" Zachrich; son, David (Ann) Zachrich, Tallmadge, Ohio; daughter, Reesa (Frank) Rohrs, Van Wert, Ohio; grandchildren, Jacob (Amy) Zachrich, Miriam (Larry) Scheetz, Rachel Rohrs, Abigail (Justin) Sparks, Angela Zachrich, Emily (Anthony) Gilmore; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Taylor, Rollen, Rebekah, Emma, Clay, Trent, Tessa, Bo, Annie and Colin; two sisters, Alene Duerk, Orlando, Florida, and Evelyn (Donald) Granzow, Hastings, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Yaichner, and an infant sister.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, with Pastor Peter Marcis and Pastor Charles Kramer officiating. Interment will follow in Florida Cemetery, Florida, Ohio. Visitation is from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
