NAPOLEON -- Helen G. Jackson, 91, of Napoleon, Ohio, died peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at the Napoleon Lutheran Home.
She was born January 13, 1922, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late Rudolph and Harriet (Franke) Junk. On November 28, 1942, she married Charles Jackson Jr. in Findlay, who preceded her in death on June 7, 1984.
Helen worked for Campbell Soup Company, Napoleon, for 25 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Napoleon, where she was a former deacon and member of its Moonlighters Bible study group. She loved playing cards and belonged to the same bridge club for over 40 years.
She is survived by daughters, Mary (Jon) Sheppard of Fairport, N.Y., Ruth Anne (Royce) Baden of Van Wert, and Margaret (Mike "Spike") Whitman of Liberty Center; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph (Jane) Yunk of Toledo; and special friends, Lucille Meyer, April Brown and Sue Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church, Napoleon. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and Wednesday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
