Pamela K. Babinger, 66, of Defiance, passed away from a short illness Friday morning, October 11, 2013, at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.
She was born July 17, 1947, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Audrie D. and Martha (Bradner) Keasler. On February 29, 1964, she married Robert L. Babinger, and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1994.
She is survived by two daughters, Deb Cameron and Sherry (Scott) Johnson, all of Defiance; three grandchildren, Cody Lee Johnson, Crystal LeAnn Johnson and Roslynn Renee Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Anthony Lee, Oakleigh Mae and Ava Jean; a brother, Jeffrey L. (Diane) Keasler of Defiance; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Rollie Cameron.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Ralph "Buddy" Keasler and Audrie D. "Jr." Keasler.
She graduated from Defiance High School and worked for 10 years at Defiance Metal Products. Known as "Grams" and "GG" to her cherished grandchildren, Pamela enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Calling hours will be Monday, October 14, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in the funeral home at 11 a.m., with Rev. Max Begley officiating. Burial will follow in Brunersburg Cemetery.
