"TO MY SISTER SHARON, First of all it's hard to put into words how to thank you for all of the years that you helped me. For all of the fun gambling getaways at 4 o'clock in the morning (those were the best ones). All the lunches and doctors appointments you so thoughtfully ran me to without question. You have done so many things for me over the years that I cannot thank you enough and you never complained once. God bless you for being with me for all these years, I love you, Connie."
Visitation for Connie will be held at Peace Lutheran Church (Ohio 66 north), Defiance, on Monday, October 7, 2013, from 9-11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Fred W. Balke will officiate. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the McCauley Cemetery, Defiance, Ohio.
Suggested memorials are to CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center, The Alzheimer's Association, Defiance County Senior Center and Peace Lutheran Church.
