HICKSVILLE -- Pearl M. Schlosser, 68, died Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Hickory Creek of Hicksville.
Pearl was born April 10, 1945, the daughter of Elvin and Lucille (Glick) Fitzsimmons at Toledo, Ohio. Pearl was united in marriage to Theodore Schlosser on January 11, 1975. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2012.
Pearl loved spending time with her family and made them a priority in her life. She enjoyed laughing, playing cards and teasing them. She was an avid Hicksville Aces fan and a New York Yankees fan. She was active at the senior center and a lifelong member of Weight Watchers. She was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Hicksville, and earlier in her life, she was a nurse's aide when Hickory Creek was known as Fountain Manor.
Pearl is survived by two brothers, Lester and Elvin (Nancy) Fitzsimmons, all of Hicksville. She will be deeply missed by her seven sisters-in-law and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Donna; and a brother, Gene.
The funeral service for Pearl will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio.
