NAPOLEON -- Arthur Wallace "Casey" Jones, 84, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Saturday, September 7, 2013, at the Henry County Hospital.
He was born February 8, 1929, in Grelton, Ohio, to the late Orlo and Leannah (Schuler) Jones. On June 22, 1952, he married Barbara Sue (Ernst) Jones in Delta, Ohio, who preceded him in death on December 14, 1999. Their children include Dennis (Su) Jones of Napoleon, Deborah (Ted) Guelde of Deshler, and Dee (Rodney) Fackler of McClure; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
On September 8, 2001, he married Florence (Rickenberg) Damman Jones, and her children include Doug (Peg) Damman, Sandi Walker, Linda (Steve) Miller, all of Napoleon, and Patti (Brent) Badenhop of Hamler; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by brothers, Marv (Marlene) of Liberty Center, Woody (Charlotte) of Grelton, Lynn (Kathleen) of Reynoldsburg, and Rodney (Donna) of Oakwood. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jones.
Casey worked for many years and retired as a machinist for Bunting Bearing, Delta. He was a member of Malinta United Methodist Church and served overseas in the United States Army during the Korean War. He always was interested in learning a new skill and studied as an adult to become a machinist and locksmith.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon. Interment will follow at Grelton Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
