Charles 'Eddie' Randolph

MENTOR -- Charles E. "Eddie" Randolph, 80, of Mentor, formerly of Concord Township for the past 35 years, died Aug. 3, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 11, 1932, in Oakwood, Ohio.

Mr. Randolph had retired as a director of MIS at Avery Dennison/Fasson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and had received his bachelor of business administration from Bowling Green State University. He was a member of the Painesville United Methodist Church, a Masonic Lodge in Toledo, enjoyed music and was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Thelma (Heidenescher); daughter, Debra (Edward Wagner) Hobbins, son, Brad (Amy) Randolph, daughter, Laura (James) Fischer, and son, Kendall Randolph; grandchildren, Justin (Jasmine), Brandon (Michelle), Taylor (Alex), Paige, Matt, Jeff and Jennifer (Dwayne); great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Greyson, Brendan, Christian and Carlee; and beloved dog, Rex.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C. Logan and Mildred; daughter-in-law, Kim Randolph; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 North Park Place, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
