BRYAN -- Peg (Margaret) Sauber, 82, of Bryan, Ohio, died Sunday June 30, 2013.

She was born on October 21, 1930, in Defiance, Ohio, to Edward and Iris (Emmel) Webb. On May 19, 1951, she married Joseph E. Sauber, who died in 2008. Peg was a homemaker and especially enjoyed crocheting, embroidery and baking cherry pies. Peg belonged to several organizations including St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church of Defiance, Fort Defiance Humane Shelter and Greyhound Pets of America.

She is survived by one sister, Doris (Webb) Ng of Defiance, Ohio; two sons, Mike and (Karen) Sauber of Bryan, Ohio, and Doug and (Julianna) Sauber of Three Rivers, Michigan; two daughters, Patti (Tom) Webster of Angola, Indiana, and Amy (Bruce) Lavoie of Bryan, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Nathan and Rachael Sauber of Cleveland, Ohio, Jerry and Kristin (Sauber) Reed of Shelby, North Carolina, Tom Webster and Sarah Doll of Lebanon, Ohio, Jesse Robinson and Andrea Webster of Louisville, Ky., Adam and Sarah Nickol of Baltimore, Md., Izzy Hardy of Montpelier, Ohio, Alex and Liam Sauber of Three Rivers, Mich.; three stepgrandchildren, Aimee Lavoie of Savannah, Ga., Greg and Nikita Lavoie of Bryan, Ohio, Alex Lavoie of Oxford, Ohio; two great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren.

Visitation will be at Lawson-Roessnor Funeral Home in Defiance, Ohio, on Tuesday, July 2, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., with a scripture service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Defiance, Ohio, at 11 a.m., with Father Todd Dominique officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance.
