NAPOLEON -- Mary Louise Klear, 67, of Napoleon, passed away on June 28, 2013.
She was born on September 24, 1945, in Napoleon, Ohio, to the late George "Bud" and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Rogers.
Mary is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Steve) Nowak, John (Michelle) Klear, Jennifer (Patrick) Dix; and grandson, Sean Dix. Mary is also survived by her longtime companion, Charlie Parsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William "Bill" Rogers.
Mary was a very hard worker. She worked for Northcrest Nursing Home, and then later worked at Chief Supermarket in the deli department. She was named Woman of the Year in Napoleon. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, a past member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Napoleon and also a past member of the Elks of Napoleon. Mary taught Sunday school for various churches in Napoleon. She was caring, loving and a passionate person. She was an avid reader and she loved to write poetry. She also loved to watch murder mysteries. She especially loved spending time with her grandson, Sean.
Visitation for Mary will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, from 4-6:30 p.m., with a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Ben Sheaffer from Church of the Master United Methodist in Wauseon, Ohio, will officiate.
