RAINBOW CITY, Ala. -- Morgan Christopher Bussing, 23, Rainbow City, died March 11, 2013.

Morgan was a member of Christ Central Church. He graduated with honors from Southside High School in 2007, where he was a member of the varsity soccer team and played the saxophone in the PRIDE of Southside. He attended UAB where he planned to major in nursing and was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Morgan was known for his brilliant intellect, wonderful sense of humor and kind and loving spirit.

Surviving are his parents, Chris and Dawn Bussing, Rainbow City; a sister, Meghan Bussing Tinsley, Birmingham, Ala.; brother-in-law, Brandon Tinsley, Birmingham; uncles and aunts, Doug and Jane Williams of Rossford, Ohio, Dave and Wendy Williams of Minerva, Ohio, Steve and Beverly Bussing of Paulding, Ohio, Tim and Melody Bussing of Paulding, Carol and Leon Goyings of Paulding, Joni Bussing of Paulding, Jamie and Amy Bussing of Paulding and Mary and Russ Hermans, Paulding; grandparents, Harold and Ruth Williams, Oakwood; and many loving cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Faye Bussing; grandfather, George Bussing; and uncle, Randy Bussing.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Christ Central United Methodist Church, 409 Grand Ave., Rainbow City, Ala., with Sherri Reynolds officiating. Onsite cremation provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Attalia, Ala. Visitation is from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Central United Methodist Church youth program.
