MILLER CITY -- Paula P. Ordaz, 87, of Miller City, died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at her residence.
She was born August 10, 1925, in Cotulla, Texas, to the late Celestino and Amada (Flores) Perez. She was married to Francisco Ordaz, and he survives in Miller City.
Also surviving are nine children, Mary (Clay) Martin of Bryan, Yolanda (Jesse) Juarez of Bryan, Frank Ordaz Jr. of Miller City, Daniel (Viola) Ordaz of Holgate, Robert (Janie) Ordaz of Weslaco, Texas, Mary Grace (Vince) Schroeder of Leipsic, Frances (Dennis) Hashbarger of Glandorf, John Ordaz of Columbus, and Paula (Bruce) Kreinbrink of Dayton; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Luis, Joe and Marcelo Perez; and a sister, Juanita Muriel.
Paula was a homemaker and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, and its Altar Rosary Society. She was a loving wife and mother who was devoted to her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. March 2, 2013, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, with Father Stephen Schroeder and Father Robert DeSloover officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where there will be a rosary at 8 p.m.
