NAPOLEON -- Dorothy A. Armey, 76, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at University of Toledo Medical Center.
She was born March 16, 1936, in Malinta, Ohio, to the late Leroy and Anna (Clausen) Slight. On June 1, 1955, she married Mark Armey at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, and he preceded her in death on October 27, 1998. Dorothy had worked for G.C. Murphy Co., Hoy's Shoe & Clothing, and Napco Plastics, all of Napoleon. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, and member of the Napoleon American Legion Post 300 Auxiliary, and life member of the Napoleon VFW Post 8218 Auxiliary.
She is survived by sons, Terry (Debra) Armey of Napoleon and Scott (Tracy) Armey of Liberty Center; daughter, Michelle (Grayling) Call of Napoleon; grandchildren, Jason, Heather, Joshua, Grayling, MacKenzie and Peyton; stepgrandchildren, Andrae and Arthur; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Chandler, Alexandra, Sydney and Parker; and great-stepgrandson, Ryan; brothers, Robert Slight, Don (Suzi) Slight; and sisters, Maxine Judson, Marcille Eberle, and Karen (Martin) Hogrefe.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Corey Armey; and brother, Richard Slight.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 2-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
