PAULDING -- Viola M. Ramon, 88, died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the Putnam Acres Nursing Home, Ottawa, Ohio.

She was born December 15, 1924, in Cameron, Texas, the daughter of Louis and Laura (Branstetter) Denker. On October 9, 1942, she married Joseph A. Ramon, who preceded her in death on November 2, 1985. She was employed as a housekeeper for REA.

She is survived by a son, Joe L. (Denise) Ramon, The Villages, Fla.; three daughters, Grace Meyer of Ottawa, Brenda Boundy of Hernando Beach, Fla., and Lora (Larry) Zizelman, Spring Hill, Fla.; a sister, Mildred Orsag of Texas; seven grandchildren, Joy (Eric) Camarillo, Angie Boundy, Clint (Jennifer) Boundy, Kyle (Jessica) Boundy, Katina (Brandon) Johnson, Kimberly Schooley, and Cory (Olivia) Mendez; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son-in-law, David Meyer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery, Paulding County. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Friday.
