PAULDING -- Norman Russell Manley, 91, of Paulding, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012, at The Gardens of Paulding.

Norman was born in Paulding, on July 12, 1921, a son of the late Effie (Anspach) and Richard Manley. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Norman worked as a carpenter and also farmed, but most of all loved working with horses.

Norman will be sadly missed by his sister, LaDonna Geyer of Antwerp and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Blake, Richard, Leroy, Harry and Frank Manley, Alice Luderman, Velma Comadoll, Faye Farison, June Horney and Patricia Proxmire.

His service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 2 p.m. Friday, January 4, with viewing one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Cooper Cemetery, with military honors.
