PAULDING -- Bernard Ray Flint, 87, Paulding, died Monday, November 19, 2012, at CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.
He was born December 29, 1924, in Paulding County, Ohio, the son of Jesse and Essa (Doster) Flint. On August 19, 1950, he married Jane Ann Deisler, who preceded him in death on November 30, 1995. He was previously employed by Integrity Motors, Winkles, Grizzley and Stokleys. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of Paulding.
He is survived by four sons, Mike of Mineral Wells, Texas, Gary (Donna) Flint of Dumas, Texas, Randy Flint of Defiance, and Troy Flint, Payne, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren with one on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; a daughter, Sharon Nelson; granddaughter, Kimberly Annette Nelson; and brothers, Leo, Donald and Justus Flint.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Paulding. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 23, at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
