Michael Katt Sr., 63, of Hicksville, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at the Fort Wayne, Ind., VA hospital.
The cause of death was a stroke caused by complications of acute myloid leukemia.
He was preceded by his wife, Kim Wittendorf Katt, in 1997. He leaves behind a son, Mike Katt Jr. A time and place for a memorial will be announced. Mike Sr. served in the 8th Army Infantry during the Vietnam War and was also stationed in Germany as security. He was altruistic to a fault and had humor and a personality well enjoyed throughout Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
