OAKWOOD -- Michael Lee "Mike" Cline, 62, of Oakwood, formerly of Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord at 1 a.m. September 20, 2012, at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Mike was born October 31, 1949, in Portsmouth to the late Hearst S. Cline and Trilby (Morgan) Cline. His brother, Joseph Anthony Cline, also preceded him in death.

Mike was a carpenter and an avid lover of the outdoor scene. He enjoyed hunting for the biggest buck, and loved fishing. He always asserted his opinion and stated what was on his mind, but at the same time, always willing to give of his time, be there for anyone and volunteer wherever help was needed. Mike will be sadly missed by all his family.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Oakwood, with his nephew, Rev. David A. Tackett from End Times Harvest Church, officiating.
