Marilouise Waidelich

ARCHBOLD -- Marilouise Waidelich, 77, of Archbold, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, September 7, 2012.

She was born May 23, 1935, near Pettisville, the daughter of Charles and Bessie (Frey) Miller, and married Virgil Waidelich on August 21, 1955. A lifelong resident of the Pettisville/Archbold area, she was a bookkeeper in the law office of Plassman, Rupp, Short & Hensal in Archbold for 20 years. She volunteered at Care & Share, Fulton County Health Center, and at Sauder Village as a quilter. She served on the board at Shalom Ministries and was an active member of the West Clinton Mennonite Church near Pettisville.

She is survived by her husband, Virgil; four children, John (Sherri) Waidelich of Pettisville, Michael (Eileen) Waidelich of Archbold, Jane (Mark) Bruner of Pettisville, and Matthew (Beth) Waidelich of Harrisonburg, Va.; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers, Robert (Norma) Miller of Wauseon, Glen (Marilyn) Miller of Goshen, Ind., and Dale Miller of Bellingham, Wash.; and one sister, Ada (Andy) Brenneman of Lima.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kenneth Miller, Marlin Miller and Virgil Miller; and a sister, Lois Short.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the West Clinton Mennonite Church with Revs. Jess and Naomi Engle officiating. Interment will precede at 10 a.m. in the Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call at West Clinton Mennonite Church from 2-8 p.m. on Monday. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements.
