OAKWOOD -- Amanda Sue King, 37, formally of Oakwood, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 3:06 p.m. at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
She was born May 27, 1975, in Defiance, the daughter of Richard and Terry (Zedaker) King. Amanda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her nieces or as she called them "her eight little girls." She was a home health aide until she became ill this past year. She was a member of the Grace Family Church in Port St. Lucie, Fla. One of her biggest achievements and satisfactions in life was being ordained. Amanda is survived by her parents, Richard and Terry King of Oakwood; a brother, Clifford (Shonda) King of Ayersville; a sister, Stacey (Samuel) Rue of Paulding; a sister/niece, Britney (Josh) King of Oakwood; nieces, Hannah and Sydney King, Alexis, Risa, Miah and Riley Rue; and one great-niece, Brooklyn King.
She was met in heaven by her grandparents, Richard and Angela (Burkmeyer) Zedaker, Juanita (Curtis) King, Allison and Paddy King; a brother, Richard 'Richie' Allison King; and a fiance, Michael McCabe.
Arrangements are pending and a graveside service will be set at a later date. A special thank you to her Uncle Ryan and Aunt Sue of Fla. who gave her love and care during her recent illness.
