NAPOLEON -- Pauline "Polly" Armbruster, 81, of rural Napoleon, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at her residence.

She was born January 10, 1931, in Evansport, Ohio, to the late Roy and Blanche (Cooley) Stitsel. On March 19, 1949, she married Lawrence Armbruster at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flatrock Township. Pauline was a homemaker and also helped her husband on the farm. She was a faithful member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flatrock Township, for many years until her health kept her and her husband from attending. She also loved playing cards and was a member of the "Chatty Eight" card club, and the Red Hat Ladies.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; daughter, Debra (Jon) Pittman, and daughter-in-law, Deborah Salaz Armbruster, both of Napoleon; grandchildren, Cody, Cassie and Chad Pittman, and Jevin and Destin Armbruster; great-grandchildren, Kaedin and Katelynn Pittman; and a sister, Mary Scott of Defiance.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Armbruster; and a brother, Bill Stitsel.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flatrock Township, with Pastor Robert Azinger officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-8 p.m. at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
