NAPOLEON -- Mary Ann Funchion, age 79, of Napoleon, Ohio, was received by the Lord on Saturday morning, February 4, 2012, at the Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, Ohio.
Born March 23, 1932, in Napoleon, Ohio, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Conway) Dietrick. She married John "Bill" Funchion on July 21, 1951, and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2005. Mary Ann worked many years as a waitress at the former Holiday Inn of Napoleon. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church of Napoleon.
Surviving is one daughter, Lisa (Randy) Kruse, Napoleon; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one brother, John A. (Judy) Dietrick, Defiance.
Mary Ann so loved her family, her grandchildren, Courtney, Sara, Jordan and her great grandchildren Caden, Camiren and Kayne.
She was preceded in death also by her parents and one son, Greg Funchion.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. up to the time of the service on Tuesday at the church.
