KALIDA - Michael E. Feldman, 43, of Kalida, died Saturday morning, January 14, 2012, on St. Rt. 114 between county roads 19 and 19K in Putnam County.
He was born September 3, 1968, in Lima to James and Becky (Krogman) Feldman. His mother, now Becky Shawber and her husband, Eugene, survive in Leipsic. His father survives in Lima. On November 6, 2004, he married Lori Burgei and she survives in Kalida. Also surviving is a daughter, Faith Lauren Feldman at home; a brother, Mark (Stacy) Feldman of Port Clinton; a sister, Mary Melissa (Nathan) Scoles of Pandora and father and mother-in-law, Michael and Janet Burgei of Kalida.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Leroy and Mary June Krogman, and an uncle, Tim Krogman.
Michael worked over 20 years at Campbell Soup Co. in Napoleon. He attended St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida. He was a 1987 graduate of Leipsic High School. He was a great mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. For many years he participated in the demolition Dderby. Mike loved helping others.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida, with Father Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa.
