HICKSVILLE -- Eva L. Hawkins, 83, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at her home.
She was born on October 14, 1928, in Defiance County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Levi and Elizabeth (Kisabeth) Frick. Eva was married to Wilbur Weeks and he preceded her in death. She was then married to Donald Hawkins in September of 2002, and he survives. She was retired from Magnavox Corporation. She was a member of Trinity Seventh Day Adventist Church, Defiance.
Eva is also survived by a son, Gary (Susan) Weeks of Fayette, Ohio; a daughter, Linda Camp of Athol, Idaho; two stepdaughters, Rebecca (John) Heffelfinger of Bryan, Ohio, and Barbara Jones of Lebanon, Tenn.; a stepson, Merle (Sandra) Hawkins of Florida; four grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-stepgrandchildren.
Eva was also preceded in death by an infant stepgrandchild.
Services for Eva will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, with John Heffelfinger officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery, Hicksville.
