CLOVERDALE -- Lillian L. Sroufe, 87, Cloverdale, died at 5:04 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007, in Putnam Acres Care Center, Ottawa.
She was born May 5, 1920, in St. Marys, the daughter of Frank and Nellie (Burd) Leidy. She retired after 37 years at the former Sylvania GTE, Ottawa, and was a member of Dupont Church of the Brethren and Quarter Century Club GTE Sylvania.
Surviving are three sons, William (Frances) of Continental, LeRoy (Judy) of North Creek and Larry (Ginni), Cloverdale; a daughter, Sandy (Tom) Weis, Ottawa; a sister, Marie Weber, Westlake; and 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-stepgrandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a son, Rolland, in infancy; two brothers, Richard Downing and Edgar Dilger; and two sisters, Gladys Nelson and Zelma Celeland.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today.
