Three suspects arrested in Henry County after burglary attempt

RIDGEVILLE CORNERS -- Three men were arrested by the Henry County Sheriff's office Tuesday following a break-in at a Ridgeville Township home.

A homeowner, who lives on County Road 24 in Ridgeville Township, called 911 at 8:12 a.m. Tuesday after finding two males inside his home. One of the burglars allegedly threatened the homeowner with a blunt object before running out of the house. Minutes later, deputies saw two men matching the suspects' description run from a cornfield near the house to a waiting car on Road U in Ridgeville Township. The vehicle was stopped after a short pursuit and three male suspects were arrested.

The suspects were Tyler McCabe, 20, Shane Donnelly, 20, and Victor Guerrero, 19, all of whom are Henry County residents. They were taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker, and charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony.

The incident remains under investigation and further charges are pending. Henry County K-9 unit assisted the deputies in locating evidence left behind by the suspects. Fulton County Sheriff's deputies also assisted in the arrest.

  • I wonder if these are the same ones coming into Liberty Center and stealing items from the neighborhood. Ask them if they have my folding pliers and GPS units. Thanks for doing a good job and hopefully getting this stealing stopped.
