Fulton Crimestoppers seeking information on burglary, theft


WAUSEON -- The Fulton County Crimestopper program is seeking information on a burglary and a theft reported in the county.

Authorities are investigating a burglary that occurred at 09084 Fulton County Road J, Delta, on June 27. The homeowner reported that between 8:30-11:30 a.m. the front door was broken in to gain entrance into the home. Several pieces of jewelry consisting of rings, necklaces, earrings and watches were stolen, as were a LG 42-inch flat screen TV, a Sanyo 32-inch flat screen TV, a Kindle Fire, a Nintendo Wii U, a Nintendo Super Mario 3D and a Sentry home safe. Total value of the items stolen is estimated at $16,800.

Authorities are also seeking information on the theft of veteran cemetery medallions. On June 28, it was reported that several rods had been taken from the Wauseon Union Cemetery, at 15165 Ohio 2, Wauseon. Approximately 103 rods were taken with a total value estimated at $721.

Anyone with information may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
