PAULDING -- A suspect has been indicted here in connection with a robbery at Ross Service Station in Grover Hill on Oct. 4.
However, he is not yet in custody, the Paulding County Sheriff's Office indicated in a news release issued Friday morning. As of Saturday evening, he was still on the loose.
James Reynolds, 34, Fort Jennings, was indicted by a Paulding County grand jury for aggravated robbery, a second-degree felony.
"Our information tells us Reynolds is on the run," said Sheriff Jason Landers. "We will need the public's help to locate him. I am grateful for all the tips we are receiving in this case. A lot of our success to get Reynolds indicted came from a joint effort involving the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, Van Wert County Sheriff's Office and Adult Parole Authority."
Landers said a second suspect has not been identified.
"We know there is a second white male still unidentified at this time," said Landers. "We will follow leads as they continue to come in."
According to the sheriff's office the "overwhelming amount of tips called or emailed" in helped deputies aggressively investigate the robbery.
