HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) -- A judge has sentenced a 53-year-old Ohio man to 10 years in prison after he admitted raping a young developmentally disabled woman.
The Hamilton JournalNews (http://bit.ly/VuLkqc ) reports that Michael Butcher was sentenced after previously pleading guilty to one count of rape as part of a plea agreement.
Butcher briefly apologized to the father of the 21-year-old victim in court Wednesday. His attorney said he's taken responsibility for the crime.
When he gets out of prison, Butcher will be classified a sex offender for the rest of his life.
