CLEVELAND (AP) -- A man has been arrested as a suspect in the slayings of his grandparents at their northeast Ohio home.

Cleveland police said Tuesday that the 29-year-old man is suspected in the deaths of 75-year-old Jim King and his 72-year-old wife, Wava King. Authorities say they died Sunday night or early Monday. The cause of death has not been released.

Police say their grandson is in custody awaiting charges.

The Plain Dealer reports authorities found the couple's car in the Cleveland suburb of Parma and took the grandson into custody Monday.

The newspaper says the couple's daughter lived with them and awoke Monday morning to find her mother dead on the couch. She called police, who found Jim King dead in the basement.

WEWS-TV reports both victims had head injuries.
