AGOURA HILLS, Calif. (AP) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies say four people have been arrested in connection with the death of Thousand Oaks High School football player Griffen Kramer, the son of former NFL quarterback Erik Kramer.
Thursday's arrests follow the Oct. 30 death of the 18-year-old varsity backup quarterback.
Deputies say two adults and one youth were booked for investigation of involuntary manslaughter. The other teen was booked on a drug charge and released to his parents.
Sheriff's Lt. John Corina told the Ventura County Star (http://bit.ly/uYB5mF ) that detectives have been investigating a drug connection since Kramer's death. He says evidence seized from six homes during Thursday's arrests included heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
Six children living in deplorable conditions at one of the homes were turned over to child services.
