Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Davis, of Defiance, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Wilbur Davis and Cheryl Brown were married June 16, 1962, in Defiance by Rev. Russell Bowditch.
The couple has four children: Joe Davis, who is deceased; Angela Davis, Defiance; James (Patty) Davis, Defiance; Becky (Tim) Gearhart, Defiance; and two grandchildren they raised: Alycia (Jarod) Bany, Defiance; and Andy Davis, Defiance. They have six other grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Davis' celebrated their special occasion with a hog roast and an open house.
