FREMONT (AP) -- The Ohio Highway Patrol says one woman has died after a two-vehicle crash in northwestern Ohio that seriously injured two other women.
A statement by the patrol's Fremont post says the crash occurred about 7:30 Saturday morning at an intersection in Green Creek Township in Sandusky County.
According to the patrol, one driver, 69-year-old Judith Hansen of Clyde, was taken by helicopter to a Toledo hospital where she died.
A dispatcher said the driver and a passenger in the second vehicle were taken to hospitals with serious injuries. Their conditions weren't immediately known. Their names have not been released.
The patrol said Hansen's car failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and drove into the path of the second vehicle, which hit Hansen's car before landing on its side.
The investigation is continuing.
