NEW YORK (AP) -- QUIET SUMMER: Summer travel is expected to increase slightly this year. But Americans still worried about the economy will keep a tight travel budget.
HOW MANY?: AAA estimates that 34.8 million Americans will take trips of at least 50 miles over Memorial Day. That's a half-million more than Memorial Day 2011 but only equal to the number who traveled two years ago.
WHERE TO?: Orlando, home to Disney World, is expected to remain the top U.S. destination this year, according to AAA. AAA also expects tourists to flock to Hawaii, Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., Las Vegas and New York.
