TROY, Ohio (AP) -- An Ohio man is asking to delay his trial Tuesday on charges that he raped the adopted son of a man who has pleaded guilty to raping three boys in his care.
The attorney for 30-year-old Jason Zwick asked for the delay, alleging possible witness tampering. The trial court judge was hearing arguments on the motion Monday afternoon.
Attorney Joe Stadnicar (STAD'-ni-cahr) alleges that a visitor to the jail took photos or video of Zwick, apparently meant to help identify him. The motion says Zwick's defense will contend that he has been misidentified as the perpetrator in the case.
There was no word immediately on when Judge Christopher Gee (JEE) would rule.
