COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- A video from 2008 provides glimpses into the lives of exotic animals once owned by an Ohio man who last year released them before committing suicide.
WBNS-TV reported Thursday (http://bit.ly/JCYUE4 ) the video was obtained when Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents executed a search warrant on Terry Thompson's Zanesville property in June 2008.
The video shows a bear being fed, as well as shots of a caged monkey, and caged lions, tigers and a black leopard.
It's unclear if any of the animals were among those police killed last fall as they responded to reports of loose animals after Thompson's suicide.
At the time of his death Thompson had only been home a few weeks after spending a year in prison on a gun conviction.
