COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Officials say a tractor-trailer crash on a ramp closed a connection between two major highways in downtown Columbus, disrupting travel for thousands of drivers during the morning rush hour.

The crash occurred before 3 a.m. Wednesday on a ramp from southbound Interstate 71 to eastbound Interstate 70, closing that section of highway. It reopened about six hours later.
