PARMA, Ohio (AP) -- A $9.3 million Veterans Affairs clinic is set to open in the Cleveland area.
The outpatient clinic at the site of a former driving range in Parma is opening Monday on a limited basis. The Department of Veterans Affairs says the 75,000-square-foot facility eventually is expected to serve more than 20,000 people through 125,000 outpatient visits annually.
It will offer services ranging from primary care and physical therapy to specialties such as cardiology, neurology and mental health care.
Outpatient services and about 130 jobs from a clinic in Brecksville are being transferred to the Parma site. It was expected to generate 20 new jobs.
The clinic's grand opening will be March 10.
