Ohio bank robbery suspect arrested in South Dakota

DUPREE, S.D. (AP) -- An Ohio bank robbery suspect has been apprehended in South Dakota after a 1 ½-hour standoff with federal, state and tribal authorities.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 29-year-old Clarence Aragon is suspected of robbing the Richland Bank in Mansfield, Ohio, on Jan. 24. He was arrested Wednesday in the central South Dakota town of Dupree.

Authorities say Aragon barricaded himself in the attic of a house in the town on the Cheyenne Indian Reservation but eventually surrendered without incident and was taken to a jail in Pierre. He eventually will be taken back to Ohio to face charges.
