CAMBRIDGE, Ohio (AP) -- A man faces a court hearing Thursday after police say he placed a 3-year-old child in a running clothes dryer as a punishment.
Guernsey County sheriff's deputies did not see any visible injuries on the child when the man was arrested after deputies went to a house in Cambridge to check on the child.
The Zanesville Times reports Thursday (http://ohne.ws/yRzdYE ) that 40-year-old Jamial Bayly has been charged with child endangerment and is scheduled for a video arraignment in Cambridge Municipal Court.
The paper says Guernsey County Children Services is looking into the child's medical needs.
Cambridge Municipal Court records don't list an attorney for Bayly.
