AMSTERDAM (AP) -- PSV Eindhoven lost 2-1 to Vitesse Arnhem Sunday but stayed top of the Dutch Eredivisie as FC Twente could only manage a 2-2 draw with lowly PEC Zwolle.

PSV took an early lead against Vitesse when Timothy Derijck scored after only five minutes, but former PSV striker Jonathan Reis equalized 10 minutes later and Wilfried Bony fired in the winner in the 74th for his league-leading 15th goal of the season to give Vitesse coach Fred Rutten a win at his former club.

PSV coach Dick Advocaat rued his team's failure to convert in front of goal.

"Unfortunately we missed six or seven good chances," Advocaat said. "If you don't convert your chances you're going to suffer an unnecessary defeat sometime."

Second-placed Twente had the chance to draw level on points with PSV by beating 14th-placed Zwolle, but eventually was happy to escape with a draw to stay second, level on points with third-place Vitesse.

Steve McClaren's team took the lead through a Dusan Tadic penalty, but then allowed Denni Avdic to equalize in the 55th minute. Joey van den Berg snatched what he thought was a late winner, only to see Luc Castaignos salvage a point for Twente with an injury-time header.

Ajax recovered from its midweek Champions League exit by staging a late comeback to beat Roda JC Kerkrade 2-1 and stay fourth in the league.

Guus Hupperts gave Roda the lead in the 14th minute after Ajax defender Daley Blind gave the ball away, and Ajax had to wait until the last 10 minutes to rescue a win.

Christian Eriksen equalized in the 82nd, and a deflected shot by substitute Lasse Schone sealed the win two minutes from time.

"We're happy with this victory," said Ajax coach Frank de Boer. "We constantly threatened, so we deserved this victory."

In Sunday's other match, Feyenoord won 2-0 at AZ Alkmaar.
