Series Record: Utah State leads 19-17-2.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
A win secures Utah State's first 10-win season and first outright league championship since the 1936 team won the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Gary Andersen's team knocked off high-powered Louisiana Tech last week in overtime and another win could net the Aggies something bigger than the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in their final season in the Western Athletic Conference. Idaho is still trying to get interim head coach Jason Gesser (0-4) his first victory.
Idaho QB Taylor Davis went 18 of 29 for 223 yards with three touchdowns and one interception last weekend but faces a Utah State D led by senior CB Will Davis. Davis has had an interception in four straight games, including one last week to halt Colby Cameron's NCAA record streak of 444 passes without a pick.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Utah State: QB Chuckie Keeton and RB Kerwynn Williams were a potent combination in a 48-41 overtime win against Louisiana Tech last week. They hooked up for an 86-yard touchdown on the Aggies' first play from scrimmage. Williams finished with 303 all-purpose yards and will be playing his final home game.
Idaho: Senior WR Mike Scott leads the team with 58 catches for 660 yards.
