NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Denver Broncos by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
___
DENVER BRONCOS (1)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 2) -- Fourth time Peyton has had a 10-game winning streak.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 2) -- Their 10-game winning streak makes them the team to beat in the AFC.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 1)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 1) -- 11 in a row (after KC this weekend) and primed for a Super Bowl run.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 1) -- The operative numbers here are 10 and 72. That's 10 straight wins for the Broncos and 72 times that Peyton Manning has passed for three or more TDs in a game. Next stop New Orleans?
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 1) -- The Broncos have won 10 in a row and finish at home Sunday against the lowly Chiefs. That translates into an 11-game winning streak heading into the playoffs. No team is hotter.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 1) -- I'm not sure what happened last: A Denver loss or peace in the Middle East.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 1) -- The Mile High City is lovely to visit in January unless you're an AFC Super Bowl hopeful.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 2) -- As expected the Broncos have become a scoring machine that also has good pass rushers. Still a chance they are the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 1)
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 1) -- As if red-hot Peyton Manning and Co. needed more help -- one more win against the NFL's worst team (Kansas City) guarantees the Broncos at least a first-round playoff bye.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 1) -- They have won 10 straight and have not played in a tight game since Nov. 18. They are far and away the hottest team in the AFC.
