NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The question has been dressed in different ways, asked by countless people in every situation imaginable: Is this the best coaching job of Kansas coach Bill Self's career?
Self still isn't willing to go there.
Instead, he's leaving everyone else to form their own opinions after shepherding a team full of former backups, transfers and walk-ons to the Final Four. Kansas will play Ohio State, a team it has already beaten once this season, on Saturday night at the Superdome.
Senior guards Connor Teahan and Tyshawn Taylor were willing to rate their coach's job performance -- sort of. Teahan said he's "impressed by his coaching performance every year," while Taylor pointed out that expectations this season were lower than usual.
For that reason, Taylor said, Self deserves all the praise he's receiving.
