BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -- For the second time in four days, Spanish leader Real Madrid conceded a late free kick as it slipped to a 1-1 draw at Villarreal on Wednesday.
The draw broke Madrid's 10-game away winning run and let Barcelona close to within six points as the title race enters its home stretch with 10 games to play.
Like Malaga's Santi Cazorla did on Sunday, Marcos Senna bent his free kick around the defensive wall to level in the 83rd, canceling out Cristiano Ronaldo's 62nd-minute opener for the visitors.
Madrid ended the game with nine men after Sergio Ramos and Mesut Oezil saw their second bookings after Senna's goal. Madrid coach Jose Mourinho was also banished from the sideline by the referee.
