CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -- Georgetown and Georgia Tech proved they can win in the NCAA tournament without big games from their stars.
Now they're facing each other and want their top scorers to get going again.
The fourth-seeded Yellow Jackets (25-8) play fifth-seeded Georgetown (23-8) Tuesday night in the second round of the Des Moines Regional.
Neither team got much from its best player in Round 1. Sugar Rodgers finished with 11 points against Fresno State. Only once since November had she scored fewer than that.
Georgia Tech's Tyaunna Marshall had a season-low two points on 1-of-7 shooting against Sacred Heart.
Georgetown coach Terri Williams-Flournoy said Monday that "just as (Georgia Tech coach MaChelle Joseph) is hoping that Ty doesn't play like she did yesterday, we're hoping that Sugar doesn't play like she did."
